S6 Lite works well for what you ask! I've been daily driving it for a year or so and it is likely great drawing device and note taking is good too. The screen isn't the largest so you'll run into the issue of where to place your hand but I'm lefty and write weird so idk how it works out for others but I was still able to take really nice notes.
